MD-500

The MD-500 is a popular workhorse of the helicopter utility industry. Known for its high power to weight ratio, excellent maneuverability, reliability and superb safety record, it makes a great light lift and transport machine.

We currently operate three md-500s in our fleet, rotating between our main base of operations in Maui and our satellite base on Oahu.

The md-500 seats three passengers and one pilot, they are configured for external sling lift loads and human external cargo operations. With our modular configurations, we can adapt the interior of our aircraft to whatever the job calls for.

Popular uses of the md-500 are remote area transport of cargo and passengers, firefighting and police operations, power line inspections, movie production and filming, and doors off helicopter sightseeing tours.
